We visited Rameswaram on 20-03-2012, stayed there for two days. Rameswaram is one among the four most spiritually important places of India ie.,Badrinath(North),Dwaraka(West),Puri(East) and Rameswaram(South). The other three shrines are purely vyshnavyte, where as Rameswaram is equally visited by both vyshnavytes and shaives as this is the 7th jyothirlinga, the shiva linga installed by Sri Rama for brahma hatya dosha nivarana of killing Ravana.
At the end of the tour we also visited the hose of Dr A P J Abdul Kalam.
